Stumptown Art Studio is a 501(c) 3 non profit organization
established 1995 in Whitefish, Montana.

As a community art center, Stumptown Art Studio takes pride in serving people of all ages
from professional artists, to backyard artists and anyone seeking an artistic adventure.
Stumptown Art Studio provides art lessons in our own classrooms and throughout the area,
supplementing art programs lacking in many public and private schools.

For the past 15 years, SAS has offered adult workshops, summer art camps for kids,
instructional art classes, after school art clubs, adult workshops, gallery exhibits and more.
SAS has an artists' co-op and clay room, providing potter's wheels, slab-roller, and a kiln.

The Ceramics Annex at the Studio offers "walk-in" glass fusing, ceramic painting and
mosaic making everyday of the week. Stumptown Art Studio participates in local
community events, offering hands on art activities at weekend festivals & fundraisers.
Stumptown Art Studio makes art accessible for everyone and anyone, local residents
and tourists alike, enriching the community and beyond.
