Stumptown Art Studio is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established 1995 in Whitefish, Montana.
As a community art center, Stumptown Art Studio takes pride in serving people of all ages,
from professional artists to backyard artists, to people of all abilities and to anyone seeking an artistic adventure.
Stumptown Art Studio provides art lessons in our own classrooms plus outreach classes off-site.
Local locations throughout the area include public and private schools, special needs organizations, senior
centers and more.
For the past 16 years, S.A.S. has offered art classes for kids, adult workshops featuring guest artists, summer
art camps and adult art treks, after-school art club, gallery exhibits, and more. The Studio has an artists' co-op clay
cellar which provides potter's wheels, a slab roller and a kiln for those seeking space to work with clay.
Stumptown Art Studio helps organize Whitefish Gallery Nights in the summertime
and is responsible for Whitefish Artwalk during Winter Carnival every February.
The Ceramics Annex at Stumptown Art Studio offers "walk in" glass fusing, pottery painting and mosaic making
everyday of the week for residents and visitors alike.
Stumptown Art Studio participates in local community events every weekend during the summertime, offering
hands on art activities at weekend festivals and fundraisers, making art accessible for all!
