INTRODUCTION TO GLASS FUSING
WEDNESDAY MARCH 7th

Learn all the basic fusing skills through this popular hands-on workshop. Fusing theory, kiln preparation and firing schedule information will be discussed. Explore ideas of design and color
balance while completing two projects, including one slumped piece.

DICHROIC FUSED GLASS JEWELRY
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 8th

Great class for all levels. Create three uniquely different dichroic glass jewelry pieces in this fun and fast paced class! Students will practice and learn a variety of finishing techniques including grinding, making channels and applying findings.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

CHARMED BY SILVER PMC
TUESDAY, JANUARY 17th 6:30- 9pm
$65 or $60 for Members

In this intro to PMC you will make charms and/or small pendants that are 99.9% silver. Start looking for fingerprint size objects to impress in your PMC clay- rubber stamps, leather punches, handles of small tools, and interesting button, vintage silverware, etc.
We'll torch fire and finish our pieces so you can wear them home or make as a gift. ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED






PMC DANGLY EARRINGS
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21st 6:30- 9pm
$65 or $60 for Members

Another basic PMC class, this time you will add one or more layers of silver that result in a pair of dangly silver earrings. One of the fun things about PMC clay is while it's still green or moist, you can always roll it up and create something else. We'll torch fire, polish and learn how to patina our pieces for coloful highlights and lowlights. ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED

PMC & DICHROIC GLASS PENDANT

Make a fine silver PMC pendant or a medallion that holds a dichroic glass cabochon. These will be fired in a kiln on Tuesday night and finished in the Wednesday class. Cost is for both nights. ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED

Cultural & Art History Club
A newly formed Cultural and Art History Club will meet
the second Tuesday of each month on an ongoing basis from 10 am until noon at Stumptown Art Studio.

The club will provide opportunities for both visitors and residents of the community to share, discuss and expand their knowledge of art here in Montana and the world at large.

Lead by Guest artist Rosella Mosteller


The format for the next three months will be as follows and continue afterward with the general topics of Montana, American, European, and World Art History. As with any group it will likely evolve with time and interests.

MAKING GLASS BEADS
Learn the ancient art of making glass beads! Students will melt glass from glass rods onto a metal mandrel to create their own glass beads. All while using a blow torch!

Limit is 4 students per class
